While Deb was resting Vern took classmate Don (who is a Viet Nam era Marine helicopter crewman) for a short trip out to gas up Gracie and get her ready for the trip home. Of course, while we were there we had to take Gracie up for a short walk! Among fliers of her type aircraft there is a phenomena called the 'RV Grin' when folks get their first Van's RV ride. Here is Don's grin! I think he liked the ride.
Tomorrow morning we meet with Dr Nair and get the results of all the tests. If the reports are OK, then we will head home. The weather looks great but the runway at home is closed for maintenance. The airport manager said if I'll call him on the radio he'll have it opened in 5 minutes. Hope he can do it.
