Thanksgiving means Family Time for the Blessed

Deb is continuing to improve but still needs lots of nap time and low levels of activities. She has perked up a bit since Saturday when Trey, Katka, and Evelyn arrived from Belgium and Stephen, Amanda, Jon, Eliana, Deb, and Vern were all together in one place! What a blessing!

Trey's family is spending ten days in the US and we are getting to know little Evelyn. She and Eliana got to play together for several hours and plan on having Turkey together this Thursday at our Thanksgiving dinner.

Here are some shots. Expect many more as this is some of the best medicine Deb has had! Grandparents...you understand!

  1. Deb: So glad to see you and everybody there. So glad to actually see you on the film clip with your grandbaby. Thanksgiving is great. You and your family seem very blessed and happy at this time of year. May the Lord bless you all during this holiday season and time of Jesus' birth. Love, Deb Cook

  3. Dear Deb and Vern,
I am so behind on your blog...no excuse is acceptable, but the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas at school were so hectic and busy. A co-worker and I did The Nutcracker Ballet with our wheelchair students and did 2 performances for parents and the school on Dec. 15. No sugar plum fairy has ever been more thrilled and beautiful than my E. who has severe CP and was draped in white and lavender bridal netting and glittery flowers and snowflakes! I am going to work my way up the posts! Mary Roberts
