Deb got in and out of the chemo chair in record time this morning. We had a very efficient nurse and we got there early. Therefore, we beat the church crowd to our favorite Greek restaurant and Elmo was hanging out at the hangar ready to help us load and launch Gracie. We had a good tailwind and would have possibly set a new record flying home until Atlanta Center lost it's radar and had to give us an odd clearance using old traditional navigation fixes. You see, Gracie has an Instrument Flight Rules certified GPS system that is accurate enough to get us direct navigation from one location to another. The old-style navigation was a zig-zag from radio station to radio station (called VORs).
It was a beautiful flying day. Deb loved the sight seeing.

We were met back in Peachtree City by a crowd of friends who greeted us and made quick work of unloading, refueling, and putting Gracie away. It means so much to have friends on both ends of our trip.
What a wonderful blog post to read when I got home from school! Wow, when I left church as soon as it was over and raced to the commissary to try to be the 12:00 church folks, I was too late. Good for you for getting to your faorite Greek restaurant before the crowd!
