No news from Evelyn!
Move for Deb's mom still on for tomorrow.
Deb was up about 7 am and cheerful. We ate a quiet breakfast, read scripture from the Psalms, checked email, tried on a few garments needed for our trip, then Deb wanted to go back to bed at 9:30am for a nap. She's very tired and wants a calm quiet day.

Vern & Deb -
ReplyDeleteOur family has kept you both in our prayers. We have also taken the liberty of adding you to the prayer list of many of our faithful "prayer warrior" friends.
It has been so humbling to read your daily reports. Debbie, I'll always remember as a little girl wanting to grow up and be "just like you". Even now, during this battle you are facing, you continue to inspire me.
We will be calling you in the next day or two to find out if there are ways that we can help that may not have been mentioned. Until then, please be aware that we are covering you in prayer:
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." James 5:16
Vern and Deb, we have witnessed the healing power of our Lord Jesus so many times in our lives and we have no doubt that it was due to God's people praying. I like how Kirk translates it best: "The energetic, passionate prayers of Godly men have the power to accomplish much". I'm certainly not trying to be disrespectful of God's Word but from other comments that I have read, it sure sounds like you have some "energetic and passionate" prayers being offered up on your behalf!
Finally (just to make you laugh) and just in case you're still wondering. . . Yes, Debbie, when I finally DO grow up, I still want to be "just like you"!
With our love - Kirk and Andrea
