Day +8 -Fever now!

7 pm CT-Deb has a high fever we are battling. It peaked at 105.1 degrees 30 minutes ago. It is down around 103 degrees now. It will be 9:30pm tonight before we can hook up the anti-biotic infuser.

Last night was Deb's best night of sleep in several weeks, which meant it was also mine! We woke up feeling better than any time lately. Clinic time was shorter: in and out by 12:30 noon-ish. So, it looked like the hard times were abating.

We had a visit from Tywana  who deals with PR, insurance,  patient encouraging, etc. We had an interesting visit. Thanks Tywana!

Tomorrow is more of the same. In at 07:30am. Out at who-knows???

White Count-below 2 is neutrapenic and indicates Deb's vulnerability for infection.
Platelets -a whitish colored component of blood. Low platelets=higher Woozy factor!
CRP -An indicator of relative health. Lower is better. When the number creeps up, Deb could be getting sick.
