Alert:passed out in waiting area, now ok

We arrived in the cancer clinic this morning after Deb spent most of last evening in the WC. She started across the room and when she sensed she was passing out she plopped down on the floor. I called out the Nurses who helped wheel her into a chemo treatment cluster. Her blood pressure was very low and they immediately started an iv. It's not an unusual event at this stage of recovery they say. More later.

Update

Hours later we are still in the cluster being treated. Blood pressure was very low. Labs showed the CRP was very high since yesterday, indicating infection.

We are getting an iv shortly for antibiotics. Then infusers of antibiotics over the weekend. Then pills for BP and antibiotics.

Deb is very weak even after all this. Looks like a challenging weekend, which is the same for us as a weekday.

More as we learn it.
