Tuesday Evening+ Prayer requests

Dr Barlogie is the brains behind this institute. His bad habit is this red Ducati. It is always parked outside the building he is in. It is here nights-weekends-and holidays! We are grateful for his devotion but agree with the board of directors that a limo and driver would be better for him and his patients.

Deb got her labs at the hotel and then went into the clinic early. We got three more infusers for home and I got her home about noon. She took a nap that lasted until evening. She has a fever and feels lousy. Her white count went up to 3+. She came home without her mask on.

This evening Dr Barlogie had a 'show and tell' scheduled. Deb stayed home while I attended. There were about 50 classmates .

A lady gave her story of being a caregiver. It was very emotional and well received. Dr. Barlogie got involved in a medical emergency so he asked his assistant Caleb to step in. Caleb is a PA and Barlogie's right hand man.

He is an Auburn grad and responds well to an occasional 'War Eagle' which is hard for a Bulldog to say. But, I've had to do a lot of things differently since we enjoined the Myeloma battle.

One of the things you might notice from the classmates at the show and tell is that Deb is probably 10-15 years younger than most of the other patients. There are a few classmates younger, but not many. There was a patient there tonight that has been in remission >14 years. That encourages us!

Our friends Harold and Gwen came back from their farm in Tn and brought us some home made sausage and country ham that Harold made. I immediately cooked up a sample of country ham and Deb approved! Thanks Harold!

>Cath scheduled out in the morning with a six hour observation to see her system kick in naturally and normally

>Deb has some lower lobe wheeze in one lung. She has had pneumonia twice during this cancer adventure. That's enough for us!
