Monday-Labor Day with Trey

Trey was with us today in the chemo clinic. There are so many hours and hours of just sitting.  We enjoyed it together today. Deb was in-clinic twice today. She has had a number of miserable days. The second time was to get platelets. She has to get matched platelets with pre-meds. That takes time and sometimes the platelets are not available.

To have that time together is precious. If you have small children, you are with them all the time. Time with adult children is scarce! Especially those who live in Europe!
Trey heads back to Atlanta tomorrow, and then back home to his two lovely redheads. We will miss him. Trey hopes to meet Dr van Rhee tomorrow before he goes.

A week from today Amanda will be with us undergoing the processing to retrieve cells for Deb's Natural Killer Cell experimental treatment.
