Thursday night

Daily News:

Youngest son Stephen has been here for a supper visit and to pick up his paperwork for his first-ever jury duty. He'll be back here Monday morning for that.

Deb's Mom Doris ended up with one wrist surgery complete with new metal parts inserted and the other wrist put into a cast. Much more to come.

Deb had blood drawn at her doctor's, spun down, and over-nighted back to Arkansas. We also have to go to the local hospital for additional blood tests which are faxed back to Arkansas.

Saturday evening we get to watch Eliana while Jon and Amanda attend an event.

The roof is almost completed on the sunroom. It will probably be dried in completely by tomorrow afternoon. Deb and I have enjoyed sharing decoration and use ideas. It's very therapeutic for us to have something else on our minds besides cancer, meds, treatments, etc. This whole cancer experience has been a drag!

  1. Vern,

I think that last statement might well be the understatement of the century! Deb and you are in our prayers, have a wonderful time with Eliana on Saturday...
