The white blood count came up ever so slightly and we are so grateful! It is day forty and on the original killer cell plan, we were to be home recovering and preparing to return to Arkansas on day 60. But, as Deb is fond of saying, 'Here we are!'
Stephen stayed with Deb overnight giving Vern a chance to sleep in a bed again. Thanks!
Yesterday afternoon while Deb slept, I took Stephen to our favorite Bar-b-q spot and let him feast on Arkansas' finest. Then I drove back to the hospital via a long-cut so Stephen could see Deb's favorite riverside vista.
Stephen returns to Ga on Weds. He will be missed.
Stay tuned for multiple posts today.

We had rapid-fire visits by the doc, the nurse, the breathing treatment nurse, nutrition, housekeeping, plus others! Thanks staff, for the excellent care!
They found the guy in Wisconsin who had Deb's platelets so she has been premeded to receive them. The meds put her into a long nap normally.

Platelets -(Normal range 150-500) a whitish colored component of blood. Low platelets=higher Woozy factor!
CRP -(Normal range = 0.0-10) An indicator of relative health. Lower is better. When the number creeps up, Deb could be getting sick.

Still praying. What a trooper! In fact, two troopers. We will be in Florida over Thanksgiving, but I will try to keep up. Thanks, Vern, for keeping everyone posted so well.
