  1. Praise God! I was awake several times last night, and each time God put you on my heart to pray for you.
    I was thinking of a poem that has meant so much to me through the years. At first reading, it may seem rather trite, but actually the message is profound:

    See God in all things, large or small,
    And give Him praise, what'ere befall.
    In life or death, in pain or woe,
    SEE GOD and overcome thy foe.

    I am overwhelmed as I see you doing just that.
    Love you. Lisa

  4. I found it amazing that as tired and as lousy as one could feel - sleep was not always possible. So glad you could find some blessed sleep. Stay strong.

  5. Dear Debbie,
    I woke up last night and this song came to my mind...and in my mind I could see Mrs. O. singing it with such conviction and joy at Afterglow. This is my prayer for you!
    Love, Mary Hedderman Roberts

    Like a river glorious is God’s perfect peace,
    Over all victorious, in its bright increase;
    Perfect, yet it floweth fuller every day,
    Perfect, yet it groweth deeper all the way.

    Hidden in the hollow of His blessed hand,
    Never foe can follow, never traitor stand;
    Not a surge of worry, not a shade of care,
    Not a blast of hurry touch the spirit there.

    Every joy or trial falleth from above,
    Traced upon our dial by the Sun of Love;
    We may trust Him fully all for us to do;
    They who trust Him wholly find Him wholly true.

    Refrain:
    Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
    Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.
