HOME!

We got home a little past 1 pm today. Deb was starving so after angel Jeff dropped us off at home so Deb could rest I ran to Publix for her desired goodies. Of course our first stop was at the bright yellow sunroom in process. It's exciting ! Thanks sheetrock and paint angels!

While she rested I went to the Post Office and picked up weeks of mail. Then I had some banking business and finally home for a long nap. This caregiver is exhausted!

Yesterday was physically exhausting plus very stressful. Before we went to bed last night we had the bulk of our goods packed up. The rest was packed and taken downstairs this morning for the 8:30 pickup by driver angel Calvin, who has faithfully hauled us back and forth to the little airport we use in North Little Rock.
Cynthia, the manager of the Markham House

Julie, who provides the Continental breakfasts for us.
Gracie arrives!
Note the tailwind arrow showing 44 knots!

Deb rested all the way back and as she has done on every trip I remember, she used her influence above for a tailwind. At times it was 44 knots! See the lower arrow and number.

We went fast but had lots of changes in our course because Atlanta Center lost a radar. Therefore we went fast but flew further.

A crowd of friends were waiting at the hangar. It's so good to be with them!

  3. If only Deb had red Dorothy shoes she could "click" to travel back and forth. (and all the supplies). So glad you are home to renew and re energize. The road may be long, hopefully the end is now closer than the journey has been. Knowing you would not be vacationing this year I took you in my heart to see the Giant Sequoias in California a few weeks ago. You loved them!! Rest and rejoice let God's strength flow into you.

  5. Congratulations on making through yet another treatment and trip home! I can only imagine how exhausted you both are...Praying that God continues his work in both of your lives, strengthening both of you for the days ahead. Very encouraging to both hear of and get a small glimpse into your "fight." Praying there are angels helping you with your adjustment back home! Know the sunroom will be a healing place for Deb!
