Deb had fluids and shots in the clinic today and brought home several infusers containing antibiotics because her CRP indicated that she has an infection of an unknown location. She is finished with one: the other goes on at 1:30 am. Because of the concern about this infection they gave her 1/2 of a test for blood clots. Today was the lower body. Tomorrow is the upper half. Why? Insurance! It will only cover 1/2 of this test in a 24 hour period. Seems silly to me, but what do I know?
Deb has had a higher than normal pulse rate and her blood pressure has varied. She is still very weak and is probably a 6 on the Woozy Meter.
She passed 2.0 on the white blood count and is now minimally able to be in public. Hopefully she is on the way up!
