Monday morning

Up and at 'em, Adam Ant!

Or so the cartoon used to begin.

We have been preparing for the meeting with Dr Nair to go over our numbers, outlook, and ask our page of questions. Then we get a triple port installed on Deb's left front shoulder area for chemotherapy.

Deb is very pensive as we consider this week and the unknowns of it.She had several q&as with some nurses this am.

Her spine repairs really did well and her mobility is up and her pain levlels down.PTL !

Last night we had thunderstorms that boomed and rained hard. Being on the top floor made it especially noisy with heavy rain.

More later

  1. While you folks are away for these treatments I hope you don't feel "away" in any sense except geography!

I'm reminded of a reflection of David is Psa. 139 about not being able to ever be anywhere that our creator isn't already there.

As you pensively anticipate the events and "unknowns" of the week ahead I want you both to know how sincerely I believe your present trials and circumstances hold true to what I have found to be an encouraging reality from Christ's own words in the gospel that could roughly be interpreted like this, .."No, [she] isn't being punished for her sins (in this present suffering) nor is [she] being punished for the sins of her parents or grandparents; but that through this our Heavenly Father will be glorified!"

As I and so many others are able to be with you in our hearts because of the blogging here, we are praising God for His faithfulness and His strenthening and comforting presence.

    Love2you!

  2. Cecil found some great words to reassure us all. I'm so glad that Deb was able to get some rest this weekend to prepare for a busy schedule today. While miles may distance you from friends and family, you can be conforted by knowing that we are with you in spirit. Your weather may have been uncomfortable over the weekend ... and probably later today ... but you were blessed with the right weather at the right time for this trip. Just one of many answered prayers. Please continue the great work with the blog as it is the primary link to keep most of us informed on your needs. Bruce
